Design has the power to move people—to inspire, build trust, and create relevance. It simplifies the complex, cuts through noise, and captures attention in ways words alone can’t. When done well, design reaches people at a deeper, more human level.
I cut my teeth in the agency world, working on large-scale campaigns for organizations like Indiana Tourism (now the Indiana Destination Development Corporation) where I learned how big ideas are built and executed by fast-paced teams working under real deadlines.
Working in-house for a manufacturing company taught me the discipline of brand consistency—how voice, visuals, and messaging must align across every touchpoint to build trust over time.
In beauty and consumer packaged goods, I saw firsthand how packaging affects consumer behavior, and how brand architecture and scalable systems deploy into retail environments.
Later, in boutique marketing studios, I learned the value of deeper client relationships and listening. The industries varied, but the truth remained the same: people respond to brands that get them and solve problems.
Alongside my professional work, I serve as an Adjunct Instructor of Graphic Design at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Teaching keeps me on my toes. Explaining the value of design, giving direction, and challenging others requires clarity and connection—skills that carry directly into my work with clients and teams. I’ve mentored designers at many stages of their careers and find real reward in helping others sharpen their thinking, creativity, and craft.
I’m a husband and proud father of two. I enjoy biking, photography, genealogy, and history. I’ve climbed to the top of Mount Fuji twice, and am a die-hard Duke basketball fan.
