Kenra Professional is an almost 100-year-old haircare brand trusted by salon artists across the U.S. and U.K. Its products are used by celebrity stylists to create looks for clients such as Kim Kardashian and Kaley Cuoco. The brand includes three sub-brands: Kenra®, Kenra Platinum®, and Kenra Color®. Its products are sold through major beauty retailers, including Ulta Beauty’s 600+ locations nationwide, reaching professional stylists with performance-driven, premium products.
As Senior Creative Manager, I led the brand architecture, packaging design, retail graphics, and corporate identity across all three sub-brands. I directed and mentored a bi-coastal creative team of six designers split between Los Angeles and Indianapolis, elevating the visual system and unifying how the brand showed up across every touchpoint. I also collaborated on high-end Hollywood photoshoots and campaign productions, helping shape the visual language of Kenra’s stylist-focused brand storytelling.
The result was a cohesive, premium brand presence that strengthened recognition, improved retail impact, and supported significant business growth — helping drive Kenra Professional from $72M to over $100M in sales within three years.
