Howmet Fastening Systems, formerly part of Arconic, is a global manufacturer of engineered fasteners used in solar, wind, automotive, heavy truck, rail, and industrial production. The fastening segment alone generated approximately $1.1 billion in 2022. As part of a major restructuring, the company needed a unified visual system for its four product brands—Huck, Marson, Keysert, and Recoil—while preserving Huck’s 100-year market reputation.
I led the visual rebrand, creating a modern, engineering-focused design system and translating complex concepts like shear strength, tensile strength, swaging, and installation into clear diagrams and animations. I produced all product photography and installation animations, and oversaw vendor production of 3D rotational renders — all showcased on the product pages.
Working with a development team in the UK, I reorganized and updated the website with new imagery, animations, and downloadable resources. The rebrand extended to refreshed collateral, trade ads, and a formal brand standards guide, bringing consistency and clarity across the full house of brands. The unified system positioned Howmet globally with a more consistent brand experience.
